SASI Clean Guidelines

The SASI Clean mission is to protect health, preserve the planet and save water while cleaning. This is often called ‘green cleaning’. So we asked the question – “What is green cleaning?”. We were told it means: “Buying non-toxic and biodegradable cleaning products”. By this technical definition, most of the household cleaners on supermarket shelves could rightly call themselves ‘green’ – surely there is more to it than that?

So we asked a different question: “What are the ways in which our health, planet and water are being affected adversely through the act of cleaning?”. We then linked the problem, with the cause, with cure.

That is what we believe to be the true process of ‘green cleaning’ and the essence of the SASI Clean Guidelines.
